To Apple or not to Apple

That is the question. If you've been reading here for any length of time, you've probably heard me complain about my iPod shuffle (like there and here) - I hate the dang thing. Well, actually, I love it's size - I hate everything else about it. BUT, now Apple has come out with some new products that are catching my eye. Any one else see the release today? They've gone back to the original shuffle idea (with the buttons instead of the horrible remote-on-the-headphones). So of course, I'm a little giddy at the idea of replacing mine. So, do I get the new shuffle or do I get the new tiny, clippable nano? I think they are both very comparable (except for the price). The size is still easy on both, both have clips. The biggest plus to spending the money on the nano is being able to plug it into my car to hear the music.

So, what to do? What to do?

  1. tough questions - i have a iPod Touch strapped to my bicep - pace calculations, metronome, music, and voice recorder to track when I complain about what I am feeling while running

  3. I have a love/hate relationship with Apple. I get sucked in by all the fancy products and colors... but things never work the way I want. I absolutely LOATHED that newer gen shuffle, I hated the headphones, and in less than 4 months I went through THREE adapters so I could use my own headphones. Back up to a nano, but it isn't as "friendly" to use... and it doesn't sync properly. Suck less, Apple. (With that said, I'd probably go back to the older style - had not seen a release announcement. I'm a sucker, lol)
